This section is a 9 mile descent with a beautiful combination of wildlife, clear water, deep pools, and jungle scenery. La Virgin is the most popular whitewater run on the Sarapiqui River. Generally this is more difficult whitewater than the lower section, which is only class I /II. The lower section is a perfect section to practice and improve your kayaking skills in warm water and beautiful scenery. During our kayaking trip, we will have lunch on the river and spend some time swimming and relaxing along the river bank. After the river descent, we will return to Turrialba. Our whitewater kayaking trip include: Transport from San José - Turrialba - south Caribbean. Breakfast is included only for those who are coming from San José and the south Caribbean. Top of the line river gear, only experienced guides, and a private photographer ready to capture the awesome natural beauty and the amazing collection of memories for you to take home.

At the take out we play a slide show of your kayaking pictures. CD’s and DVD’s will be for sale at the restaurant.
