The Lower Pacuare has been recognized as one of the top five most beautiful rivers around the world from the National Geographic magazine. This section will be an 18 mile river descent in class II, III & IV rapids. We begin the tour near the town of Tres Equis; one hour from Turrialba. Before entering the river, our guides give an important safety talk, familiarizing rafters with the necessary commands and safety instructions. On this rafting trip, we stop for a river hike to one of the many waterfalls that feed the Pacuare River. Here you can take pleasure in swimming & view exotic wildlife in the jungle. We also provide a delicious river lunch during your descent.
Our whitewater rafting trip includes: Transport from San José - Turrialba - South Caribbean. Breakfast is included only for those who are coming from San José and the South Caribbean. Lunch is provided on the river for everyone. Top of the line river gear, only experienced guides, a private photographer ready to capture the awesome natural beauty and the amazing collection of memories for you to take home. Use of the facilities at the take out such as, changing rooms, showers, gift shop, restaurant & bar service.
At the take out we play a slide show of your rafting pictures. CD’s and DVD’s will be for sale at the restaurant.

Turrialba pickup time is at 8:00am, and we will return at 4:00pm. Price: $75
San José pickup time is at 6:00am, and we will return at 5:30pm. Price: $95
South Caribbean pickup time is at 6:00am, and we will return at 5:00pm. $95
