The hotel is built into a small hillside overlooking beautiful Tamarindo Bay and the Pacific Ocean. You are literally a five minute walk from the golden sands of Tamarindo Beach. There is a spectacular white-water ocean view from almost every room in the hotel.
Accommodations:
This small family-owned hotel offers seventeen lovely rooms and fifteen spacious, luxuriously appointed villas. Every villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen including: a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator plus all the utensils and pots & pans. The villas have a private bedroom, living room, and either a patio or balcony. All villas are furnished with a tropical motif and with hand crafted furniture made from local hard woods. All villas and rooms are air-conditioned and have great views of the Tamarindo Bay and blue Pacific.
You can relax and watch the waves majestically rolling onto the golden sands of Tamarindo beach. All villas and rooms have a telephone with international access as well as a TV & VCR. The hotel has its own on-site video rental store - Pirate Video - complete with over 1000 classic and recent movies to choose from. For worry free protection of your valuables a safe is provided in all villas and most rooms at no additional charge.

The resort has a spectacular ocean view swimming pool complete with a beautiful waterfall and swim-up bar. Relax at the world renowned Monkey Bar where wild tropical potions flow freely to the sounds of the waves, the jungle & Latin rhythms.
The Secret Spot restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner daily. It is located in the open air, directly by the pool & waterfall. Try the fresh fish caught daily from the Pacific. There are over a dozen restaurants within a short walk from your villa including, Italian, French, Vegetarian Mexican and Costa Rican as well as a number of seafood restaurants. For the non-calorie counters, the world famous Johan's Bakery is right across the street from our hotel!

Bavaria Suite: Three bedroom, one bath Villa (950 square feet) complete with living room, breakfast bar, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, Cable TV and air-conditioned. The Villa can comfortably sleep 8 with two guests per private bedroom (either a couple or 2 singles can be accommodated in each of the bedrooms) and two in the living room on the single sofa beds. The Bavaria suite has its own private veranda complete with hammocks. Please note that the Bavaria suite does not have an ocean view.

Capitan Suizo***
A free natural atmosphere with the touch of Swiss quality.
Hotel Capitán Suizo is located in Playa Tamarindo, one of the most beautiful Pacific coast beaches in Costa Rica. Directly on the beach, the hotel is surrounded by large, native trees and lush, colorful gardens. Playa Tamarindo is located 200 miles from San José, 45 miles from the International Airport in Liberia and 2 miles from the local airport in Tamarindo.
Bungalows:
The 8 thatched roof bungalows are individually set into nature with a roomy and comfortable queen sized bed. One queen sized futon sofa bed. The bathrooms with bathtubs/showers, bidets and outside showers are very large. The bungalows have been designed to keep the inside cool, they are equipped with fans as A/C is not needed.
Rooms:
The 22 rooms are spacious with a terrace or balcony. The rooms on the first floor have A/C, on the second floor they are built in such a way that A/C is not needed. 18 rooms offer queen sized beds, 4 rooms have 2 twin beds. All of them have one queen sized futon sofa bed. The bathrooms are large with a shower and bidet.
EACH UNIT IS EQUIPPED WITH A TELEPHONE, FM/AM RADIO, SAFETY BOX, A SMALL REFRIGERATOR AND A HAIR DRYER.

Mirador Samara***
Samara, on Costa Rica's Pacific coast, has maintained its original charming village character. The town and its surrounding area offer a large variety of plants and exotic animals. A three mile long beach, with coconut palms and other tropical plants, is sheltered by an offshore coral reef. It is an excellent vacation spot, with horseback riding, surfing, cycling, boat tours, trips to nearby national parks, discos, supermarkets, international-style restaurants and more.
The Hotel Mirador de Samara is build on a high hill, commanding a panoramic view of the village, beach and ocean from every room, terrace or balcony. The village and the bay beyond is unique and ideally suited for families or groups. In high season, this can be a rather warm part of the country, and the elevation of this hotel plus the strictly north - south position of the building catches cooling breezes that the town and beachfront facilities do not enjoy.
Air condition here is not required, as large overhead fans in each of the spacious 8 apartments and also the Sky rooms provide all the cooling required. The hotel is very close to the village, yet remote just enough to provide quiet sleeps away from the night action.
The apartments and rooms are spacious and each has an enormous deck for enjoying the sunset views, and the building backs onto forest, so the birds are there each morning to greet you with a song.
The main building has 6 apartments, they feature 1 double bed and one twin bedt. In the lounge there is a sofa that can be turned into a double bed, and in the storerooms is another single bed that could be added. Max 6 persons per apartment. Each has a big bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, electric coffee maker, elec. Blender, rice cooker, cooker, and other common kitchen utilities. On every terrace and balcony, with their panoramic ocean view , you will find a huge dining table with comfortable wicker fiberglass chairs, also on the terraces, sleeping room, and in the lounge you find furniture like sofa tables, night tables, writing tables, closets, private safe deposit box.
Sky Rooms
The building is constructed in a strategic North - South position which allows the ocean breeze entering into the rooms during daytime and at night bringing cool breeze from the mountains behind. The only sound at night that you hear are the waves - early in the morning you might be woken up by the abundant birds starting their singings.
The 4 units (SKY ROOMS) are double/triple rooms with private bath, hot water, queen, king or twin beds size (orthopedic mattresses), cable TV, fridge, security box, balconies etc. They are big , having 330 sq. feet each.
The new swimming pool of the Aparthotel Mirador de Samara has a size of 11 meters X 6 meters. It is filled with high quality sweet water from our own 60 meter deep well. The total size of the pool area is about 400 square meters. All this is surrounded and laid in a tropical garden. From the pool and the decks you also can enjoy the panoramic ocean view.
An open walled restaurant adjoins the hotel in a tower with 360 degree panoramic view. The hotel also offers a large tropical garden area with a swimming pool, sun decks, parking and reception and services such as phone and fax, laundry, ground transfer etc. [top]

Tropical Latino***
The Lodge:
Tropical Latino Lodge was opened in 1995 and offers the only accommodation in its category in the area. The lodge is set in a grove of Pochote trees in whose shade lush tropical gardens have been planted. The bungalows, designed by Italian architect Valeria Negrini, combine modern lines and comfort with local materials. A typical palm thatched "rancho" houses the restaurant which overlooks the beach side swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
Location:
The hotel Tropical Latino is located at Santa Teresa de Malpais, about four km north of Cabo Blanco Reserve. Malpais is a small fishing village on the west coast of the Nicoya peninsula. A couple of km north is Santa Teresa and further up Playa Hermosa, a great wild, isolated, sandy and shaded beach.
Accommodations:
10 spacious comfortably furnished bungalows, each fronted by a wide individual porch with hammocks and with A/C. The bungalows, designed combining modern lines and comfort with local materials, have luxurious private bathroom with hot water.
Restaurant:
The open air restaurant features fusion cuisine as well as Costa Rican. Fresh caught local seafood receives pride of place.
Activities:

Hotel Sugar Beach is located in the Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica's North-West, 8 kilometers north of Flamingo Beach. Master Suites: Three second story suites with view of swimming pool and partial beach/sea view. The suites feature an open air sala and two large private balcony decks. The bedroom has a king size bed, solar heated water, air conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, safety deposit box and a small refrigerator.
Coati Suite: One large suite a king size bed, hot water, TV, a/c, safety deposit box, wet bar, living area with a sofa-bed, surrounded by vegetation. Quiet!
Two bedroom suites: Two suites with two bedrooms each (one king size bed and 2 double beds), living area and open air terrace, only a few steps away from the beach. The suites also include hot water, TV, a/c and safety deposit box.
Beach House: Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen, hot water, TV and a/c. It has capacity for 8 people and it is located right on the beach.
Grand Villa: Our beach front Grand Villa is tucked away on the southern edge of Playa Pan de Azúcar. From this tranquil spot, guests enjoy the added privacy with full access to the hotel's facilities. This two-story Spanish colonial home has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, TV, a large dinning/living room, full kitchen, second story deck and large porch with wet bar, BBQ, tables, chairs and lounges.
