Just a few steps from the Caribbean sea, with the tropical rainforest in background, the spacious and tastefully decorated bungalows are privately set apart amidst lush gardens full of color and natural beauty.

Designed and crafted in a unique style that blends traditional materials, exotic woods and thatched-palm roofs, with a modern building concept, each bungalow has a particular atmosphere. Each one comfortably lodge up to four people, with one queen size bed and two twin size beds, one of them placed in the mezzanine to provide privacy and wonderful spatial flexibility. All decorated with bamboo lamps and furniture, while ceiling fans, large windows with mosquito nets and high peaked roofs allow a refreshing natural air circulation.

Every bungalow comfortably lodge up to four people, with one queen size bed and two twin size beds, one of them placed in the mezzanine to provide privacy.

Each bungalow comes with minibar, security box and a softly lit original sauna-style bathroom that allows you to enjoy a shower while admiring the natural surroundings. Its own private deck and hammock out front, invites to relax and enjoy the colorful tropical gardens of the surroundings covered with bromeliads, heliconias, gingers, palms and tropical fruit trees, which interact with a great variety of birds and butterflies, as well as to listen to the different sounds of the jungle or just lie under a bright moonlight and sparkling stars.

Hidden away among the lush tropical gardens, our free-form swimming pool is the best way to cool off after a day full of activities or simply lie back, sun bathe or enjoy the relaxing natural surrounding.

The shady "Quincho" style rancho off to one side of the pool is perfect for lounging around in or, at sunset before sitting down for a candle light dinner, refresh yourself while enjoying a tropical cocktail enhanced by jungle sounds and falling water from the sculpted waterfall connecting the jacuzzi.

For enjoying a delightful tropical breakfast, fresh drinks, listen to some music, Direct TV, play games or get some information and advices about tours and activities.a cozy place with fine woods and inviting decoration awaits you. The "Club House / Reception" is built like a typical palm-roof Rancho which reflects in the dimensions of its structure those of the surrounding rainforest.

Almonds and CoralsAlmonds and Corals***

Located in the heart of the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge is a delightful relaxing place with the magic touch of Nature. This is a rare opportunity to live in the wild while maintaining a level of luxury. Each tent lies under giant trees in a forest so dense that the Sun rays hardly touch the ground. They are placed over a platform lifted up on stilts and orchids hang from the branches and like in a fairy tale, as you walk through the enchanted forest, by passages on stilts, suddenly you are in front of the magnificent Caribbean with your feet on golden sand, coconuts and the bay of Manzanillo.

Almonds and Corals is located 25 kilometers south from Cahuita National Park, southern part of the Limon Province at the Caribbean Coast, in the heart of the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. The beach areas has Golden sand with thatch umbrellas for shade.

Standard room: It is the normal room of Almonds and Corals Lodge with new furniture, It has the unquestionable seal of a tent since 1993; the Bungalow has a size of 25 square meters. It has two twin beds 1, 20 meters each one, two side tables, two electric lamps, one hammock, one sofa bed, a cloth hanger, full body mirror, a fan, a bathroom with hot water, hair dryer, shampoo, rinse and environmental perfume.

The new beds are done in precious wood and they have new mattress and new clothes of bed. Place a tent up on stilts on a wooden platform. Protect the platform with a roof and drape it with mosquito netting. Put electricity night lamps, a fan, 2 beds, a hammock, and a small table with two chairs,a mini bar, jungle view and a bathroom by the tent with hair dryer and hot water. Add a gold sand beach, a restaurant incrustrated in the jungle with excellent meals, a bar, a marvelous staff, a jacuzzi in the heart of the rainforest and camping might not be so rustic after all.

Junior Suite: The Bungalow has a size of 25 square meters, the tent has been eliminated from the rooms and now there are cream color curtains all around the room, it allows greater amplitude and privacy. It has one queen bed 1.52 meters wide and has a wooden awning covered in beige colored fabric, two side tables, two electric lamps, full body mirror, a cloth hanger, a wine bucket, a sofa bed, one hammock, a bathroom with hot water, hair dryer, shampoo, rinse and environmental perfume.

Master Suite: The Master bungalow has a size of 50 square meters, the tent has been eliminated and we have been placed smooth curtains of color cream, it has two queen bed 1.52 meters wide and one single bed has a wooden awning covered in beige colored fabric, three side tables, two electric lamps, a mirror of whole body, two fans and a cloth hanger. Also the room has a mini bar a wine bucket, a sofa bed, and one hammock, a bathroom with hot water, a Jacuzzi, hair dryer, shampoo, rinse and environmental perfume. One rustic restaurant encrusted in the heart of the forest. Excellent family style meals. There is also a bar integrated to the dinning room.

Our spacious rooms are in palm-thatched duplex bungalows, with private bathrooms decorated in mosaic, hot water, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and inviting porches with hammocks.
