The Turrialba Volcano is a National Park that is approximately 3,332 meters above the sea level. The Turrialba Volcano presents 3 well-defined craters and others disfigured by the activity. The central crater is the deepest of them all at 50 meters deep. On its sides, there are two promising cones: the Tiendilla Peak and the Armando Peak . Presently, these "smokers" only release gas and vapor, with sulfur deposits. The last eruption was between 1864-1866.
